2020 Summer Training Programs

The summer months can be your game changer - get stronger, faster, more athletic, and resistant to injury as you prepare for your next season!

We are offering a variety of Training Programs this summer for athletes in all sports and at all levels. Our programs will be challenging, fun, and - most important - designed for athletes at each stage of development to achieve results and improvements. Our Summer Training Programs will begin June 1 and run through the end of July. Class sizes in each program will be capped at 8 athletes, so space is extremely limited. Don't miss out on your chance to claim your spot on the roster!

Raw GRIT Summer Program: College-Bound & Highly Driven High School Athletes

Athletes preparing to play at the College level, along with High School Varsity & Junior Varsity athletes have a dedicated program that offers training to match their drive and commitment to improving this summer.

These are some of the words that describe the mentality of successful athletes.
They are also at the core of our Raw GRIT Summer Program.

Athletes in the Raw GRIT Summer Program will have access to 90 minutes of Sports Performance training each day, Monday through Thursday. The training sessions will rotate through different areas of focus, ensuring that we consistently train to build strength, speed, coordination, athleticism, agility, reaction, and resistance to injury. The athletes in the Raw GRIT Summer Program will benefit from training alongside like-minded athletes who are driven to work hard and enjoy the process of improving.

We will have FOUR Raw GRIT Summer Program training groups:

Session One: 9:30am - 11:00am - ALL SPOTS FILLED!

Session Two: 12pm - 1:30pm - 5 Spots Left
(Baseball/Softball skills training session for this group will be 10-11:30am)

Session Three: 2pm - 3:30pm - ALL SPOTS FILLED!
(Baseball/Softball skills training session for this group will be 12-1:30pm)

Session Four: 4pm - 5:30pm - 4 Spots Left
(Baseball Pitcher skills training session for this group will be 2-3:30pm)

The Raw GRIT Summer Program will run for June and July. Pricing for this Sports Performance training program is $395/month.

For athletes in this program who are Baseball or Softball athletes, they can combine this with expert sport-specific skills training as part of our combined program with Southfork Sports Complex. Athletes in the combined GRIT program will begin with 90 minutes of sport-specific skill & technique work with Coach Matt Reilly, then train for 90 minutes in these Sports Performance sessions. Athletes are given a 30 minute break between the Skills and Sports Performance sessions to refuel and recover.

The GRIT Summer Program, which consists of both Sports Performance training and sport-specific skill & technique training for Baseball & Softball athletes runs for June and July. Pricing for this combined program is $495/month.

Baseball Athletes focusing on Pitching will be primarily in Session Four
(Skills 2-3:30pm, Sports Performance 4-5:30pm)

Baseball Athletes who are Position Players will be primarily in Session Three
(Skills 12-1:30pm, Sports Performance 2-3:30pm)

Softball Athletes will be primarily in Session Two
(Skills 10-11:30am, Sports Performance 12-1:30pm)

Creating Champions Sports Performance Classes

The core of our year-round Sports Performance Training Programs are our afternoon and evening classes. Our classes are 1 hour training sessions, available Monday through Thursday. During the school year, these classes are split by age group. During the summer, since we offer so many alternatives for athletes in each age group, we consolidate down to a single Class session per afternoon.

High School and Middle School Athletes looking for great training but prefer 60 minute sessions should enroll in this program. This is an extension of our year-round High Performance Program, with training tailored to each athlete's age and ability.

Our Creating Champions Sports Performance Classes are a great option for athletes who can't make any of the daytime training options but want to continue (or begin!) their pursuit of long term athletic improvement.

Athletes may enroll at different levels, depending on whether they aim to train up to twice per week or want the option to come to 3 or 4 sessions each week.

Athletes can enroll for up to 2 training sessions per week for $240/month or they can get access to all 4 days of training for $395/month.

For athletes in the High Performance Program who are Baseball or Softball athletes, they can combine this with expert sport-specific skills training as part of our combined program with Southfork Sports Complex. Athletes will train for one hour in these Sports Performance sessions, then move directly into one hour of sport-specific skill & technique work with Coach Matt Reilly.

Athletes participating in both the Sports Performance training and Baseball/Softball training can choose between Performance Plus and High Performance tiers. Performance Plus gives access to 2 days of training per week for $295/month. High Performance gives access to unlimited sessions each week for $395/month.

Schedule Notes For Combined Throwing / Skills Programs:

Many of our Sports Performance Training Programs are offered as part of a combined program with Southfork Sports Complex. In these combined programs, athletes participate in both a Sports Performance training session and a skills/throwing session each time they come to the facility. Pricing for these combined programs is indicated above, and some notes on scheduling for the skills portions are indicated below:

Creating Champions:

Sports Performance training only. This session does not have an accompanying Baseball / Softball skills session.

As part of the combined GRIT program, Softball & Baseball Athletes in Session 2 will have Skills training with Coach Matt Reilly from 10-11:30am and a 30 minute break prior to their Sports Performance Training at 12pm.

As part of the combined GRIT program, Baseball Athletes in Session 3 will have Skills training with Coach Matt Reilly from 12-1:30pm and a 30 minute break prior to their Sports Performance Training at 2pm.

As part of the combined GRIT program, Baseball Pitching Athletes in Session 4 will have Skills training with Coach Matt Reilly from 2-3:30pm and a 30 minute break prior to their Sports Performance Training at 4pm.

As part of the combined Performance Plus or High Performance Throwing programs, Baseball Athletes in the 6pm Creating Champions Sports Performance class will have Skills training with Coach Matt Reilly from 7-8pm, after their workout..

Building Of Champions

All of our camps and training programs are held inside our "Building of Champions" at Southfork Sports Complex. The Building Of Champions - the latest addition to the facilities at Southfork Sports Complex - is a 4,000 square foot climate-controlled training facility with over 1,000 square feet dedicated to Strength Training and nearly 3,000 square feet of turf for Speed, Agility, and Reaction Training. The space features 30 yards of indoor turf space for speed & agility training as well as custom weight racks and an array of equipment for developing strength and power. Athletes also build speed on the outdoor 80-yard turf Sprinting Strip that features markers to help athletes train to get faster and improve their 40- and 60-yard sprints.
